What we mistake for chance is often just an invisible thread of destiny. Life moves forward through surprises, detours, and coincidences that, in the end, lead us to where we were meant to be.
Many people are drawn to mediumship after experiencing trauma, such as the loss of a loved one or illness. Tatjana’s journey was similar; she began developing her mediumship after her son passed away. Before this tragic event, Tatjana had never sought to become a medium—not because she doubted the afterlife, but because she didn’t believe mediumship could help those in grief. However, what some may call coincidences, Tatjana now sees as signs from her son. He guided her to Arthur Findlay College, where, during her first mediumship demonstration as an audience member, her son unexpectedly came through. This profound experience confirmed her calling to develop her mediumship.
Due to Tatjana's skepticism, her son couldn't simply send her obvious signs; instead, he guided her toward meaningful encounters, including meeting Mavis Pittilla and Jean Else. Tatjana felt a strong desire to study under Mavis Pittilla, one of the foremost mediums of her generation, so she enrolled in her mentorship programme.
While attending various mediumship workshops and short courses, Mavis Pittilla and Jean Else became her primary mentors, greatly influencing her development as a medium. Even before she fully committed to mediumship, Tatjana had experienced many profound connections with Spirit throughout her life.
For over twenty years, she has assisted her patients by using her psychic and mediumistic insights as a therapist, often without revealing that she already understood their stories or losses. She would ask her patients questions that guided them in identifying the roots of their issues, leading to "aha" moments that helped dismantle the walls they had built.
When teaching hypnotherapy and past-life regression to her students, they often wondered how she knew exactly what to do or how to ask the right questions, seemingly out of nowhere. Tatjana kept this a mystery, attributing it to intuition to avoid overwhelming inquiries.
Today, she wholeheartedly embraces Mediumship and recognizes its healing power for both worlds. Although Mediumship cannot and should not replace traditional therapy, it certainly supports the journey toward healing and finding peace, affirming, as her mentor Mavis Pittilla often said, that life, like love, never dies.
Tatjana is now a Mavis Pittilla Authorized teacher and takes pride in upholding her legacy. She teaches Mediumship in both English and French, sharing the Simplicity of Spirit, developed by Mavis Pittilla and her wife, Jean Else, with the French-speaking community.
